IMHO, it's not too bad a film, but every time it started to get quite good, another ridiculous cliche would come along and make it a bit crap again!
Bit of a shame coz the good bits were really quite enjoyable!
But then I should've expected it really. Jerry Bruckheimer and naff cliche's seem to go hand in hand! http://www.wvip.co.uk/ubb/wink.gif
Still not too bad though, and I'll probably watch it again when it comes out for rental.

I just finished watching it and I thought it was ALOT better than I thought it would be. The main reason I bought it was because it was a Jerry Bruckheimer production (I'm one of those people that liked Armageddon!). The DTS Soundtrack sounds GREAT! see chapter 26 - Gut Check. You can FEEL your sub working out! especially after the guy gets the back of the girls fist!
I'm trying to get hold of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Any uk based companies selling it?
General - Where did you get yours from and how much?
I got mine from Future Entertainment for £17.99

£17.99 from Play. Delivered in 2 days now they don't use registered delivery. http://www.wvip.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif
Saw copius trailers and Sky interviews about the film, plus the ladies are very nice indeed. http://www.wvip.co.uk/ubb/wink.gif.
Will watch it sometime over the weekend with the wife/boss. http://www.wvip.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif.
I had a good gut feeling about the quality of the film and now that you've said it was good, I know I was right. Every now and again a good film pops up from an unexpected quarter.

I liked this film.
Ok, allowing for 'Americanism' style story telling, it was enjoyable stuff.
I laughed a lot, in a good way, and Rimes's singing has gone way up in my opinion. Very good.
Overall, you could do far worse.
Still nice ladies. http://www.wvip.co.uk/ubb/biggrin.gif
