As lots of you liked movietyme, i went to their website to have a look
they declared that no duties would be paid, guaranteed.
however Jaws DTS is priced at $18.95, which should equate to £12.64, however they charge in pounds £15.99, where did the extra four(ish) quid come from?

$18.95 converts to $13.
I'd say the extra £3 goes on the cost of getting the disc here, VAT and duty. Seems fair to me.

Err...Hank, cos that's what it costs ie for them to bring it over here and ship it.

The company claims absolutely no duty to be paid and charges £2 for postage
if the extra money goes towards duty and postage, you're bieng charged twice for postage and in contradiction to the claim

Can't you pay the dollar price?
If you have to pay in sterling then why quote the us$ price at all.
I agree there is no justification for the poor exchange rate as you are paying for delivery as well.They claim no duty or vat to pay but they seem to have included it during the currency exchange.
These underhand tricks have put me off ordering from these guys.Its like Techtronics quoting prices without vat included (how may times have you seen somone on these forums quoting the price not knowing there is vat to add on)
Come on guys! Just read the small print.
