TOUCH OF EVIL and LAWRENCE OF ARABIA are comming out, R1. The fickle finger of fate has yet to point at the others, so far as I know. TOUCH is going to be the restored version. Read the digitalbits.com , they are a very god source to find this stuff out. Best wishes!

There are certain films that I am really anxious to get hold of on DVD. Either they're not released yet, or I'm unaware that there are copies of the following.

Touch Of Evil
Withnail & I
Sunset Boulevard
Lawrence Of Arabia
Sweet Smell Of Success
On The Waterfront
Star Wars [Obviously]
Duel
Saturday Night Sunday Morning
The Trial [Orson Welles]
Mishima

If anyone knows any info please let me know.

Otherwise what films do you eagerly anticipate being released?

Thanks Rachael

Just checked out Touch of Evil and it's being released in two days time. £15.99 on Play. Brilliant!

Usually I check IMDB for release dates but they seem a little slow on this one. Thanks for the info.

Starwars is in production for dvd release.
Rumoured release dates are 1st/2nd Quarter 2001 for Episode 1 and Chrismas 2001 for the Trilogy.

It is also rumoured that Lucas is still not pleased with the Special Edition and is working on new Special Editions for the trilogy.

Still waiting for 'Heaven and Earth', as well I wish to get "La Femme Nikita' (the series starring Peta Wilson) on DVD.

What I thinks great about it is how much Spielberg could do with very raw material. When you think it's basically a one man film.

I refuse to take any credit. The Digital Bits guys deserve it! I don't mind being a messenger, but those guys are the Aces!
