I`ve got to say I`m really looking forward to the release of the Simpsons on DVD.
According to my "Complete Guide", the first series should contain 13 episodes. Starting with the Christmas one which includes Santa`s Little Helper. My personal favourite is "Ther`s No Disgrace Like Home" in which Homer insists the family attend Marvin Monroe`s family therapy centre. Check out the guide next time you`re in a good book store. It`s a great read, if you`re a big fan.

Cycomiko,

I agree with you: "There's No Place Like Home" still ranks as one of my favourtie ever Simpsons episodes!

You should be glad to hear that the DVD will also include:

- audio commentaries
- behind-the-scenes documentaries
- a BBC documentary
- trailers and TV spots and adverts
- unseen footage/a never-before-seen episode
- all 40+ of the original "Tracey Ullman Show" 5-minute shorts, that have rarely been seen in the UK!
- all of the above, plus 13 regular episodes, on 3 DVD's!!!!

At least Matt Groening isn't short-changing us, on this one! Let's hope all future Season-By-Season boxed sets are this entertaining!

Question

Why is the R1 £17.99 and the R2 £33.99 at Play247 ? as far as I can tell they are the same stuff on them ?
