Of those of you who have seen it, what are your thoughts on it?
I ask because my bro was at it last night (and we tend to like the same films as a general rule), but he thought it was one of the worst films he has ever seen (and believe me, he has seen plenty). Apparently nothing happens and it is very boring. He said that he was most shocked because he had read reviews of it that had said it was good and that Hanks was in line for another Oscar. I am a firm believer in the fact that Hollywood just adores Tom Hanks no matter what he does. Personally I have never liked him (don't forget he did 'Big') and think that if you compare him to the great actors out there like De Niro, Pacino, Hackman, Nicholson, Eastwood, Keitel etc, he doesn't count. But he is Hollywoods darling.
