can anyone tell me what version of the film will be included in the R2 3 Disk Special Edition due for release in October.
Also, any news on a release of SHort Cuts on DVD?

Short Cuts is coming soon in a special Criterion edition Region 1 version.
Dances With Wolves is definately the 4 hour version ( fingers crossed they might include the original 3 hour cut to ) i think what they are doing with Dances is the movie will be split over 2 discs with the extras on the third disc ( Region 1 version you changed sides for extras i think but wouldnt put my neck on the line and say for sure )

Dances With Wolves is the extended cut with the film being on discs one and two it includes the dts soundtrack. There's no theatrical version with the additional disc for extras. :lesson:
It's amazing that I loved this movie when I saw it first and watching the extended four version put me off it for life
