Question lighting ideas please for HC/living room

Hi
Im redoracting my living room at the moment which has my plasma wall mounted.I really want to get a bit of a cinema lighting vibe going on in there,Ive allready looked at installing downlighters in the ceiling above the screen but quite fancy something a little different,any suggestions or telling me whats worked for you would be great.

led lighting is a good way to go and tubes lights if you look in the diy section there is a thread call (my front room) with pics of leds

depends what you are trying to achieve, with many lighting scenes you can creat a number of looks, downlighters are most common and offer quite a flexible look.

Recessed downlighters can show up in your screen unless you set them off axis to your viewing position. Also (there are dozens of different kinds) its best to get the ones that have the lamp set back into the body of the fitting by 15-20mm, it avoids the glare. Dimming is mandatory!
