hmm at £16.99 im not so sure. I got mine from £11.49 from CDWOW , what are the chances of CDWOW shipping the region 1 early too?

typical - CDWOW are the last to actually get these things to us :-(
Mine arrived from PlayUSA this morning too... now just need to resist watching it till the weekend when I have friends over for a Pt 1 / Pt 2 back to back session....

Was sent on thursday.
For some reason they seem to be getting quicker for me, goodfellas special edition has already shipped, and spent no time atall in the "packing" situation. :smashin:

Really enjoyed volume 1, didnt like volume 2 at all. Wonder what they would be like intercut together.

Watched our copy tonight and felt really let down. No where near as good as Pt 1.
..and I thought Part One was pony, so either I'll love Two or think it's even worse :)

My R3 from CDWOW shipped today. I'll have to let people know the situation with the ever changing subtitle specs.
I got mine this morning. If i didnt trust cd-wow, I'd think it was a pirate copy, allbeit a very, very good pirate copy. Picture and sound quality are excellent, its just little things like the soundtrack choice DD51 or DTS51 and no matter which version you choose, you get the dolby chopper trailer and enevitably a DD5.1 soundtrack (just like the hooky star wars dvds. DTS is there you just have to choose it from a different menu thats buried n the special features. Oh yeah it says dvd 9 on the cover too.
To be fair its my first r3 dvd and for £8 i cant complain.
Who else got theirs today then? What do you think?

DVD-9 only means the disc is single sided dual layered which a lot of discs are. The only slight problem with the R3 version is that to get English subs for non-English dialogue you have to have Chinese subs on all the time or switch them on at the right time. For those that chose R2 Japanese version of Vol.1 this should be no problem. :laugh:
