its really great. Picture quality is brilliant and the sound is very good. Some good extras too. AND its in its full uncut widescreen. Best version yet. Well pleased

When Rambo John J posted this first up here i thought this was a sure buy.
I´m getting it tomorrow.

Totally agree that they have done an excellent job.
Only watched the extended version & PQ excellent & sound good although in stereo.
Not played the original in 5.1.
Good comparision of old picture compared to restored version.
Certainly worth a tenner.
Well i finally got this version and it looks great.
Just sampled both versions and it really suprised me.
Comparing to the lousy effort both Carlton and Artisan had put in before this is the best version we will se on the DVD format.

Agree the PQ on this is superb.
Its anamorphic in OAR at last. The extended version is well worth a watch, has around 15 minutes of extra footage which only appeared when on US TV.
The extras are disappointing as like other recent Carlton releases (Heroes of Telemark, Fourth Protocol etc) they are just location interviews with the cast recording at the time of filming. There are no retrospective documentaries.
Asda have been selling this for £9.97 so slightly less than the £9.99 I paid from Play
Well worth a tenner.
