picture and sound breaking up

as the title suggestes i have a problem with sky breaking up
some channels are ok eg bbc1 bbc2 itv but most are causing a problem
do you think this is most likely a hardware problem or what
checked the signal strength and quality and both seem ok
also could i just try another digibox or will it have to be installed?

any help much appreciated

Cool

Is this a box receiving the signal from the Sky satellite to Sky box or a terrestrial freview box? If the latter they do seem more prone to breaking up of pictures/pixalisation and picture freezing.
One thing that can help if you if you have not got it already is get a special aerial for the freeview box and use satellite aerial wire(better grade and shielded than normal aerial wire).

i have also noticed this over the last week or so , infact I came here to look for this problem!!

Have they done an update recently?

I have also notcied it more in the evening, could this be down to atmospherics and the signal not being such good quality on H&l UKFOOD etc?

Many Thanks

Nathan
