Rel Q100E used to use spikes....

I have an rel Q100e subwoofer and use spikes into my carpet,im moving to a house with wooden flooring and i phoned rel yesterday for some 'feet' for the sub.
An envelope arrived today from rel, fast service !

I opened the envelope and inside were 4 black plastic screws, surely this cant be the proper item for such a high end sub ?!

My rel q150e had a choice between spikes and 4 plastic screws that did the same job in a kinder to floors sort of way.

You could put some coins or something less pointy beneath the metal spikes.

My Q200e has spikes fitted which in turn sit on four seperate 20p coins. I have a wooden floor and this stops it getting damaged. (I am thinking of upgrading to four 50p coins but i just know at some point I shall then want to use £1 coins and then eventually move onto £2 coins.......upgraditis )

Don't know about the plastic screws but i wouldn't say they are the best thing, I would have thought rubber would have been better Still, as long as they can be adjusted to stop the thing rocking about thats the main thing.
