Film charachter called Dancer

Can anyone help me with the name of the film that featured a nasty piece of work, some kind of assassin, called Dancer. I am not thinking of anything related to Rudolph - before anyone suggests it. The film was some kind of gangster film, I think, where Dancer was occaisionally despatched to do the dirty deed on someone.

Julie, during a break the other day I fancied that I could find the answer to your question. I suppose I would have gained some pleasure out of being the first to provide the answer!

So, quick search on IMDB (as Pooch suggests) for Dancer - unfortunately there are over 200 references to 'Dancer', most of whom I suspect are non-speaking extras who danced in that movie and not named "Dancer".
