keyboard and mouse stopped working

just booted up pc and both keyboard and mouse stopped working
was ok hour ago
now using giration setup on usb which is fine
could this be a virus?
system restore didnt help
will run complete virus check and trojan horse
any ideas?

Hmm.
Check you haven't pulled the plugs out ?
I spent an hour once trying to figure out what was wrong with my keyboard ...turned out I had so much stuff on my desk the corner of a book was pressing down the Esc key!

nope all plugged in
cant get into bios though

hmm my gyration gets me into the bios.

I find my Gyration keyboard does this ocassionally & usually requires having the batteries removed/reseated.
