HDTV, anyone got it?

Now that HDTV is being transmitted in the UK, has anyone bought a receiver and if so what is it like? Is it as good as the magazines say?

Worth asking the same question in the High Definition forum a bit lower down, they've been toying with PC sat cards hooked up to a dish for Euro1080

At this time I am having to make do with just playing 720p samples on my PC and they make DVD's looks very very poor in comparison. I just wish I could justify buying a new telly to take advantage of this new medium.
