Yep, get a PS2 --> Usb converter and use a PS2 pad, far superior to anything you can buy natively for the PC. Even better if you already own a PS2 I made one using the parallel port using this wiring diagram and these drivers

No you're right, no link goes to an adapter, I didn't link to one???? I linked to the schematic / drivers though

I have a logitech cordless rumblepad. Excellent gamepad with no wires to worry about.

Ebuyer.com are doing them for £33 inc VAT.

Comes with normal AA's in the box but get some rechargables and your away.
