pioneer freeview

i currently have a pioneer freeview box, i'm selling my av stuff ie av amp and surround stuff, sick of the clutter! the only prob is my pio only outputs sound via optical, and the stereo amp only has rca inputs. i know i could buy a converter but i also need to conect my xbox. so i'm thinking of getting a different freeview box, one with dual rgb scart and phono outs for sound. i presume that if the rca is connected to the stereo amp, the amp will output which ever audio signal is being used at that time, ie xbox or freeview?

any recommendations on which box would be good!

thanks

If you decide to sell your Pioneer, let me know as I'm on the lookout for one
