17" LCD TV recommendations (to be wall mounted)

Hi all,

I'm looking for a 17" LCD screen for a bedroom, and possibly another for the kitchen. I was hoping to get one for around the £500 quid mark, but it seems that I'm a bit ahead of my time as they still seem to be retailing for around £750.

I'm aware that there are some cheaper ones, but wondered what people would recommend? And in particular whether the ~£500 or even below ones are worth getting when compared to the Sony etc. more expensive models.

Hi Charles,

Have a look at the Grundig model sold only in Dixons and Currys - I'm afraid. Do a search on here for very favourable comments on it.I think it was going for £499 last time I saw one. Hope this helps.
