japan get dts,we don`t

Can someone tell me why japan get most of the films in dts.
It does`nt seem fair that we still pray that films like blade,jp1,2 and id4 ,etc could get released with dts in uk as i do`nt want to pay, over the top price to inport dvd`s from japan. WHY
