Question some help required please.......

Does anyone one know what the best way to connect the following? -
15"Aiwa portable tv & a Bush dvd player,the tv has no scarts just audio & video in & outs,the dvd player has a scart & an s-vid socket.what sort of lead would i need to connect the 2?
(Dvd player is second hand,no manual with it!! )

If the TV has audio and video inputs a cable with a scart plug on one end and three phonos on the other should do. Some cables are directional so make sure that you get a Scart to phono cable and not the other way round.

Cheers for that Ian,even though the tv has 4 sockets as i said (2 audio in/out & 2 video in/out) which do i plug the phonos in to?
Sorry if this is simple,i'm only a novice with cables etc!!
Everyone will think i'm a pleb no doubt!!

I've never seen audio and video sockets that are both in and out as they are normally one or the other. A pair of red and white audio out sockets will be used to connect the sound to external speakers or an amplifier whilst a pair of audio inputs will be used to connect up a camcorder but the same pair of sockets won't do both.
