3802 question - mpeg and 6.1 set up

Hi all , just bought a new dvd - pioneer 668 - 2 questions on set up

1) is the amp mpeg audio compatable ?

2) I want flagged 6.1 dd and 6.1 dts to be picked up - with standard 5.1 sources i want a pseudo 6.1 effect

the amp is set up with auto flag detect to ON and no flagged source set to MATRIX ON DTS ES

Do I have it correct?

Al

OK, I'll expand on that then

1) The 3802 can decode MPEG audio.

2) It's a long time since I set my 3802 up, but AFAIK you seem to have done it correctly.

That's what I thought at first, and then I got the manual out and checked. MPEG audio was listed as compatable with the 3802. I was going to list the page in the manual that it was on, but had closed it and couldn't find it again
