Hi all,

I seem to have a problem with my laptop hard drive, when I try to boot up nothing happens and I can hear a strange grinding noise, I'm no expert but even I know its most likely the problem.

Anyways I was wondering if anybody knew anywher that sells laptop hard drives of 10 gig and under, i've looked at all the usual retailers but 20 gig or over seems to be the norm now, and my budget can't stretch that far at the moment, I was looking for somewhere that sells second hand or maybe reconditioned units.

Thanks in advance

Steve

Just had a quick look in an old copy of Micro Mart and found the following:

www.laptopsolutions.plc.uk
www.rogerhenson.com

Both the above will do the rpair or send you the parts to DIY.

I've never used either of the above companies and are only what I found in a mag, so no promises on quality or service I'm afraid.

Mark.
