View Full Version : Best calibration DVD?

Just after a few opinions please, ive got a KVFQ75 and a DAV550 if that matters.

Do a search on these forums and you'll find plenty of information.

I have Digital Video Essentials (DVE) which is available at a decent price. Some prefer AVIA.

Is DVE as difficult to use as some say it is?

And Avia is NTSC only, so no good to calibrate R2 or R4 DVDs or Sky picture.

DVE isnt difficult to use its just a nightmare navigating between tests.

I am considering ripping it and reordering! its uses title as well as chapter flags so you need a DVD thats lets you navigate titles as well! Also lacks a bit of info on what the hell each test is supposed to look like when set up properly, a booklet would be very useful.
PS any one know of any books?

even pal dve wont be perfect for sky..... the box itself messes things up and you cant play the patterns through it
