wallmounting philips LCD

Finally getting mine on Sunday!

Does the package come with necessary screws for wall mounting? If not, can anyone tell me what size are needed?

It'll be going onto a chimney breast. Don't know its makeup, but some bits sound hollow, others solid.

It comes with the wll bracket, a paper template, and four sturdy 8mm bolt-like screws and rawl-plugs to fit.

It also comes with six smaller screws and rawlplugs to fit (6mm) but I haven't yet worked out what these are for!!

thanks.

Is that for fixing to brick, or will it go on plasterboard? Its only 18kg, compared to 40 for a plasma, so maybe it'll be fine?

BTW, just mounted my front FS1 speakers on the wall with these fantastic fixings from b&q. You just screw the rawlplug type thing into plasterboard and then screw the fixing onto it.

5 minute job, and no drilling or mess! Not completely on topic, but I'm so chuffed I'm telling you anyway :D

They are for the silver wire 'thingy', you know the tube to hide your wires from the screen to the tuner.

but it comes with a built in tuner?

Could it be to attach the wallmount securely to the TV?

It may be a standard pack of screws, I have a Philips plasma with a seperate tuner and that is what they are for in my set up. Otherwise I don't know, sorry.
