I've recently noticed that a lot of Disney DVDs have gone out-of-print recently.
Does anyone know of any, or where I can get information about, Disney DVDs that are of limited availability as my little girl is a Disney fan and I'd like to purchase some of them for her before she misses out on them completely.
Thanks for any help.

just get what you can now, before they go OOP.
Seems a shame that disney do this.....i missed a few early ones and there is no re-relese date for them...you just need to check around your local shops and the web sites and see who has what left.
I cannot work out why disney dont want more people to watch the classic films.
The amount of people that have got DVD players over the last year and they cannot get the films, but then i dont suppose disney need the money.
Think we need a couple more million people to buy the pirate copys and then disney might relise how much they are losing and start releaseing them again.

That sounds about right to me.

Disney artifically inflate demand for their DVDs by limiting the supply. Pretty scummy thing to do, but they can get away with it because they are Disney.

You can shop on Amazon.co.uk's private sellers of eBay where private individuals sell titles that Disney have removed from sale. These people typically bulk buy in the closing weeks of sale, and the trickle sell them via the internet for vast profit.

StooMonster Jnr is a Disney Princess fan, and would like nothing better than "Cinderella" to go with her wide collection of DVDs (far too many for a three year old). However, there is no sight of a release from Disney, and on Amazon/eBay you are talking £30+ for new VHS copies! And even £20+ for second hand copies!

One point to note is that US and UK DVDs are on different cycles for many titles, excluding things like "The Lion King".

Some crap like "Cinderella II - Dreams Come True" can go OOP as soon as possible, and shouldn't have been In Print ever.
