To those people who are lucky enough to view this channel, I hope you can help me please:-

1. What equipment do you use to view it?
2. What has it been transmitting, I know what it says, but I would like to hear from real people
3. If you are using a PC to view this, what sat card are you using and what is the spec of your machine?

I need to justify what the channel will give me before I'm allowed to get an engineer to realign and fit a new LNB to the dish. The dish itself is an 80cm channel master black dish.

I also would like recommendations on a good quality LNB please.

My plan is to have the whole lot routed through my PC

Have a read though all the threads, you'll find all the answers and more. In short though it's worth getting a Skystar 2 card for £53 incl postage from a German site at
http://www.dvbshop.tv/

You will receive the HDTV broadcasts and of course all the other many 100's of FTA tv and radio channels around in Astra Hotbird, W2 etc etc

OH a dish helps of course! 80cm minimum size

Thanks, I just needed someone to summarize it all. I have been reading the threads on satellite through your PC.

I have an 80cm dish, and it will be getting fitted with a new high gain LNB. I will visit the link you have supplied.

Thanks again

The cost of a new LNB is so cheap now. They were 10 times what they are now just a few years ago...
