Just got a personal cd/mp3/wma player, and have tried a few ripping programs. The best one i've used so far is 'advanced cd ripper pro'. The only problem with this is that it uses standard numbering for the tracks, which are then listed in the wrong order for burning.
So i'm looking for something that will rip mp3's and/or WMA's, and number the tracks with 3 digits - ie 001,002,003,.....010 etc
cheers

There are quite a lot of CD Ripping prohrams out there, and everyone has their own preference.
try musicmatch jukebox. It is quite a heavyweight program, but it is easy to use
pr, my current favorite is CDex. It has a less pretty interface, but it is much smaller, and is FREE!!
Both these programs produce good results with the MP3s sounding great.

Dean, there is a thread on this in the Computer Hardware forum and there have been several suggestions for MP3 ripping.

I think I posted to the thread Mark mentions but either way download EAC (Exact Audio Copy) from here. (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/)
You will also need to download the LAME encoder (the link is given in the installation routine of EAC.)
This is by far the best (IMHO) ripper around...
Happy ripping!
