DRH Courier Problem

Hi Guys, Any1 had a problem with the couriers the DRH use?

I confirmed that by screen was dispatched last thursday, he said I might get it on friday. ( London to Guildford ain't that far )

Fri an Mon came and went. Took day off and got mate to housesit and everything.

Today (Tuesday) got Courier's number off DRH. Courier said del was due 2-3. 4pm I rang again and a lady said she'd ring right back after speaking to depot.

She didn't, I rang again at 4.50pm. She said 'oh yes driver left a message, he will be there no later then 5.30.'

6pm. I rang again...am I wasting my time! 'Well, he said he would be there...'

It didn't turn up for 3rd day in a row. Am I being spun or is it travelling the UK in a back of a lorry having been forgotten about!

I could have gone and picked it up by now...twice!

Anyone else have problems?

Mine was dispatched on a Thursday and turned up on the Monday (looking a bit battered)

I had no probs. Well actually I had to go get it coz I missed the delivery, but that was my fault not theirs.

Got it on Tuesday in the end. driver claimed first time he had it on lorry....someone told a fib or two.

DRH were well nice though, apologised loads. However they pay for NEXT DAY delivery, I told him he is getting robbed blind. Especially when they fail a delivery DRH get charged another 50% of the delivery cost!

I told him not to pay it, I was there friday and monday, they are making it up when they say they tried but failed.

Anyway, screen is fab, Z2 pumping out in full glory now! :clap:
