I've just been able to establish that a "pulsing" (alternating brightness/darkness of the whole screen image) effect that's blighting my DV27A is being caused by my Sony Freeview Box.
The Sony box is not connected to the projector/dvd player but resides in the same cabinet - powering off the Sony box cures the problem.
Just thought I'd see if anyone else had the same problem or could think of the cause?
