View Full Version : Trailer for ROTK
Is the trailer for ROTK on the Two Towers EE?
I cant find it on any of the discs.
Seems like an obvious extra to be missing....

It is on the theatrical 2 disc version. They don't duplicate extras.

To be pedantic :) ... the theatrical edition had the 12 minute 'preview', the 'trailer' is what's showing in the cinemas at the moment, 2 1/2 minutes, and can be found on the web as returnoftheking_nl480_dl.mov
Whaaat?
Having paid £18 for the four disc version, I need to fork out another £16 for other extras on the two disc version??
Is this the same for FOTR EE?
To be honest I wasnt impressed with the extras provided in the 4 disc version....If there are 'better' extras in the 2 disc version, then I feel like I'm being ripped off here....

IMHO the extras on the 2 disc version were largely padding .. the glitzy American-teen-oriented documentary was utter pap and other other 'it changed our lives' one was almost extraneous.
Sean Astin's movie was only related to LoTR 'cos he's in LoTR .. the only two things I watched more than once were the TTT:EE and RoTK previews.

I think you're in a small minority there.

you have to but two versions of each film to get all the extras
You must be joking I thought the Star Wars saga was a rip off :god:
I think I will wait for the 18 disk box set when it comes out :rotfl:

I'm not complaining about the extra scenes in TTT EE. It improves the theatrical version which had an abrupt ending. Also the added scenes for Faramir vastly improved that part of the film.
However, there wasn't many 'features' that was particular special compared to the FOTR EE extras
A preview of ROTK or trailer would not have gone amiss.....
