Can anyone tell me the best prices for the AV8/P7?I currentley living in Malta and there is no dealer of arcam.I am going to fly to England next month and probably I buy them from there.

Try to see if you can get it in USA. Not sure you can but prices here are fixed harder than KEF speakers, maybe the rate exchange to US dollars is better.

Even better see if you can get it from Taiwan. I'm led to beleive they're built there...

You are led to believe incorrectly.
The only Arcam products not built in the UK are the AVR100, 200 and 300 (when it becomes available).
Here's (http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=476811&highlight=av8+price#post476811) a thread from February - it seems that you can often get 10% off an AV8.
