1. With 1080p vids already available on DVD in Windows Media 9 format (eg Terminator 2), I was wondering if the xbox could manage to play them, bearing in mind it uses a geforce 3 ti. Whilst the xbox cannot manage 480p dvds, what about 1080i or p/ 720p/ 480p movies in other formats.
2. The Philips 109S40 19ins CRT monitor can be bought for £130 (=$220) and handles 1920x1440 at 60Hz. Its connections are as follows:- 1 x VGA - 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15). Can it be connected to an xbox to receive 1080i/ 720p/ 480p games/movies and if so, how?
3. What are the cheapest monitors/ 1080i sets with component video inputs?
