Arcam Alpha 8 CD, Alpha 9 Amp, Linn Kan II speakers, and MJ Acoustics Pro50 sub. Sonic Link Silver Pink IC's and home made TNT Triple T and sub cable. Sounds great.

Tried to get some new speakers but nothing came near the Kans (that could fit in my room), those babies still sing, especially now I added the sub.

Same here ... Gallos are a little unbalanced in terms of spec but essential as have moved flats and had to downsize something ... when I move again next year it'll be back to some full size speakers ... B&W 800 series probably ;-)

My System , from top to bottom on the two equipment racks it takes up ;

Systemdek IIX Turntable
Arcam Alpha 8se CD Player
Arcam Alpha 9 Integrated Amp
Arcam 9P Power Amplifier

(On Soundstyle Tripod Equipment rack)

Toshiba 32inch Widescreen Tv
Sky + digibox
Yamaha DSP E800 5.1 / DTS Processor
Denon 2800 II DVD Player

(On TV stand from IKEA with equipment underneath on seperate, well ventilated shelves)

Speakers

Fronts Mission 782's (Bi-amped from Arcam 9/9p combo)
Centre Mission 78c
Rears Mission 78ds

Sub : Yamaha SW45 (The Mission sub from the 78 range would be complete overkill as far as I am concerned)

Love my system and after 12 + years of constant upgrading (started off with Dual CS 505/2 turntable, Pioneer A119 Amplifier and Mission 760 speakers) I am finally at a stage where I have got the upgrade bug under control and insted spend money on CD's and DVD's. Quite a bit of the above kit has been bought from e-bay for less than half RRP (the DVD player, the centre / rear speakers and the sub) and the Arcam Amps / CD Player were ex demo from a local hi-fi shop so I think by looking around for specific items (and taking my time as well) have got very good value for money. Come to think of it, only things I've paid full price for are the 782's, the TV and the digibox.

Arcam Alpha 10 + DAVE
Arcam Alpha 10P3
Pioneer 545 DVD
Sky+
3 X M&K S85 front
2 X MA fx surround
SVS 20-39 PC+ sub
Panasonic 6 plasma

I keep twitching and thinking about getting new amp/processor, but, to be honest, the Alpha 10 does pretty much all I need it to do.

Would be nice to have DPL2, 6-channel inputs and Component switching and a DVD player with component outputs and DVD-A, but none of those things are really essential. On saying that, I may still audition an AVR300 when they come out next year, though... lol!

Cheers,
Liam
