Alpha 9 Options?

Hi all,

Just bought an Alpha 9 integrated from the classifieds and was wondering if there are any upgrade options for it?

Also the seller tells me the first 4 notches on volume dont work, what can i do to fix this?

the obvious upgrade would be to bi-amp with an Alpha 9p power amp. Not sure what you can do about the volume control. I used to have an alpha 9 and managed to ge hold of a 10p power amp, it definltey made a difference.

I had an Alpha 9/9p combination which I liked very much. It's definately worth the extra cash although if you want to save a few quid then an older delta 290p also works well with the alpha 9.

Sorry, can't help on the volume front either!

Hi Crispy,
I would have thought that the Arcam tech support will be the best people people to help with your volume problem. They may also be able to advise on the upgrade options.
