When I ordered the R3 T3 from CD-WOW last week I got an email saying it was out of stock and more were due on the 3rd or the 7th at the latest and that I would get an email when it was sent.
Given they said they would have some 700 copies delivered on the 3rd I still haven't had a confirmation email yet.
No really fussed too much at the moment but has anyone else had a confirmation email yet?
I got a confirmation of shipping literally the day after getting that email

My situation was very similar to Buns, I had the email saying they were out of stock and then a confirmation of shipping a day later.
Like most though, mine has not arrived as yet :(

I e-mailed CDWOW this morning and got this reply:
Hi Chris!
Thank you for your recent order.
The reason why you have yet to receive this title from us is because it is a
pre-release item and cannot be dispatched until the day of release, which in
this case is the 7th November.
Sorry for the disappointment this may cause, because we sincerely appreciate
you choosing to shop with us and hope you will return again in the future.
Kind regards
Lara
Doesn't sound completely correct, cause some have already been posted - but an answer none the less!
well it is a preorder item as all are sold out so you need to wait until new stock comes in so technically it is a preorder;)
I always like it when shops thank you so many times for chosing them, kinda makes you feel important :D

I just got this mail myself, I don't mind waiting though as cd-wow are probably one of the best dvd sites on the net and delay's sometimes happen, I don't think it's their fault...
And at the price I got it for (£8.99) I won't complain over a week or two delay.
Regards,
Iain.

given the price, i too do not mind the delays (to an extent,) however it would be a good idea to tell you at the time of ordering that it is out of stock, most other sites do this- this way we atleast are given the choice of wether to go ahead or not.

Mines on its way too, still waiting for Fifth Element though - supposedly dispatched last Sunday, guess may be stuck in the post. This is my first order with them, how long do they normally take to dispatch them, it says allow 7 days.

T3 was despatched by cd wow on 31 october but no sight of it.
Problem is even if I get it now it doesnt matter as I have sold my power amp today and new system doesnt arrive until mid december :( :(

I got my copy today (ordered 30/10). However I didn't get an email to say it had been shipped.
I do get a fair amount of spam, so it's possible I deleted it by accident, but I was keeping an eye out for it.
So don't despair if you haven't had an email, as it may just turn up anyway :)

Mine arrived today,
Being the first R3 dvd I have ordered I was a bit worried about quality but from a quick inspection it seems I had nothing to worry about...

Got mine today also - pretty impressive as I only ordered it last Friday!!
I've now cancelled all my pre-orders with Play and switched to CD-WOW. I'll save a fortune and probably get the discs much quicker as well.

Well i just finished watching Terminator 3 in DTS and i can see why the film got a 12a rating at the cinema, the violence is not explicit, theres a lot of people being thrown around but no actual gore or explicit violence(( assuming this region 3 is uncut ))
On switching between the Dolby and DTS tracks after the film had ended, i felt the DTS track had deeper and tighter controlled bass but i also felt the Dolby track seemed easier to listen to, i found with the DTS track it felt overpowering and lacking sparkle at the higher frequencies, perhaps this is because DTS at 768kb/s is reported to have a top frequency response of 15khz (( DTS claim 18khz )) i just don't know for sure but the effects whizzed round my head and everything was top knotch i just felt while listening to it something was missing at the higher frequencies.
The film itself was decent enough (( but was it needed )) and i liked the ending.

Did you not see the bit where she punched through the guys chest? I thought that was a tad over the top for a 12A, but IIRC that was really the only bit of gore.
I haven't had a chance to watch mine yet and refresh my memory though.
