DV135 & Sky HD - HITACHI Plasma screen settings

DV135, Hitachi 37PD500 Plasma

I am having problems getting both the DVD player and my Sky HD box to display using the same settings on the tv.

Both connected using HDMI to DVI lead.

Sky HD works if the RGB1 input is set to DVI-STB

DV135 works if the RGB1 input is set to DVI-PC

This a pain as i have to go into the set up meni each time to switch from Sky to the DVD.

Any thoughts? Will connecting them both to the AVR280 first be a better route?

Re: DV135 & Sky HD - HITACHI Plasma screen settings

Personal suggestion is to run all sources into AVR, then AVR out to TV. Keeps things easier on audio and video source changes (so don't need to switch over TV then AV Receiver). I use component connections (and digital audio ones) and mine works beautifully.

Dan.
