Arcam remote control

I'm a proud owner of some Arcam equipment. But when it comes to the remote controls, it's another story. I have to hide them every time I get a visit.
The reason I'm asking this question is the picture I saw in the DV139 thread. Is this something new, or has it been for sale with earlier models? It looks like something more metal-like, and hopefully it's operation is more impressive than the ones I own now.

Re: Arcam remote control

lol...

aye, they arent known for fancy looking remotes! Get yourself a Harmony 885 / 895 and get rid of all the other remotes! Best thing you could ever do

Re: Arcam remote control

Arcam accept they cannot make good remote controls and have maintained this throu out there av years. They do not have the skilled staff or engineers to build such items, and if they did they probably would need software upgrades every 10 days like most of their equipment to remove the gremlins from there poorly written software!

Re: Arcam remote control

The CR100 is a new remote from Arcam that will be issued initally with the DV139. I is based around the design of the Solo remote but has backlighting, is programmable and can be configured for macros.
