Question Arcam Solo Movie With Cr100 Remote

Hi All,

Please forgive me if I have overlooked a previous post or thread but I am becoming really frustrated with my Cr100 remote.

The problem is that I seem to have disabled the source buttons and now they sources can only be selected from the numeric keypad ie AV = 9, AUX=8. This also has affected the Menu buttons, and made the remote useless

I have tried doing a factory reset by using Shift 980 to no avail.

The batteries are fresh and I have reset the rocker switch on the back of the amp.

Apart from this slight pain, I am really pleased with the whole system,. but what can I do.

Yours gratefully.

Chris

If it's any consolation you're not alone. I've also got this issue.

I've emailed Arcam support but no reply to date. If I hear anything back I'll be sure to share it with you.

Re: Arcam Solo Movie With Cr100 Remote

Here's the latest....

Arcam support replied to an email I sent and they're sending me a replacement remote. They said that once it in this state it's the best course of action. Apparently there's not definite root cause but they think some random button pressing may have bricked it.

Great support though! Sending me a remote all the way to Australia without referring me to a local agent is pretty impressive.
