Just noticed this in the App Store with 90% off on $2.00 Tuesday.
I use this as another alternative to iVI and Subler, and it does a good job, and is much quicker for me when converting WEB-DL's, it's normal price is too high in my opinion, but at £1.49 it's a bargain!

Why would you want to use this over IVI?

Ive seen in some of the reviews, people saying it taking 11mins to convert a film file.....this id like to see(cant see it happening somehow)unless its just a passthrough.

I took the 150 plunge, and ill try it out tomorrow,(the file i had to use with it,wouldnt work,as my itunes is 64bit,it wont work unless in 32bit mode??)

Ill have a good look tomorrow.

I use iVI for my media conversions/tagging 99% of the time, but I also get quite a few WEB-DL files, which, although from iTunes and re-packed as MKV's take 45-50 minutes through iVI per episode, with iFlicks it takes 3 minutes at the most. iVI seems to re-encode the files even though Pass-Thru is turned on, where as iFlicks has an iTunes compatibility mode that just comes in so handy every now and then.

Have you increased the bitrate in the settings of IVI? If its set lower than the file itself then it will always convert by design. I have the bitrate set to max and a lot of stuff changes container that way. :-)

Yep, I have all the settings to the max, I absolutely love iVI, and for some weird reason it just doesn't convert these files as quick. E.g. I can covert 3x 1080p 8gb movies in the same time it takes to do one of the 720p 1.5gb WEB-DL tv shows?

Cool. I assume you have tested the output on iPad, iPhone and ATV to make sure their fully compatible?

Interesting if that is the case.
