I have changed my DNS just to check what the US content was like on Netflix, iTunes etc and i can't believe how much better netflix is while the $ works a lot cheaper than £ not to mention some funks are released sooner than than the UK store.
Would it be ok to keep my settings as it is or do I have to refer back to UK settings if I wish to buy films via iTunes? Is using sites to unblock your DNS settings legal?

Its fine, but switching dns has nothing to do with whether you are able to buy itunes content. You need a itunes account based on a US address. So that means a different itunes account for each store you wish to buy from. You can access different stores in itunes from anywhere in the world, as I said previously you don't need to use a DNS service.

The DNS service is needed for access to Netflix US from the Uk however. Although a you don't need a US netflix account, it works fine with a UK one.

Is it possible to buy content from the American store? I know you said need a made up address but not sure if has to be same billing address as the card and what other ways there are to get around it.
I looked at the iTunes us store and they have a few films I wouldn't mind seeing way before they appear in uk.

Ok. I have a ATV and want to find out how to switch the DNs so that I can get the US Netflix stuff.. My Netflix account is registered in the US but I can't changed the regional stuff...
