In the new iPod* app. . .the volume slider is metallic.

As you tilt the phone. . .it does a fake reflection change just like a really old music player would in natural light

Check Out How Insane This Tiny New Detail in iOS 6 Is

I honestly didn't know, never ever heard it called that. I don't have an iPod Touch so was wondering whether it is something specific for that only And LOL I totally forgot to switch back on iTunes Match on my 4S running iOS6 so I hadn't even looked in that area yet.

Just looked at it, and it is quite cool, works in all directions...

I can't remember the Music App being called iPod either?

This suggests otherwise though...

I remember when it changed from iPod to music... I was disappointed at the time! It wasn't long ago... must have been when I went from iOs 4 to iOs 5...

The "music" app was called iPod and included videos right up until iOS 5 was released, only on the iPod touch were they seperate before then. Funny that you guys don't remember that when it was only October last year that it changed!

I don't buy it. You'll be telling us that Podcasts used to be part of the Music App next! ;-)

I think that 'Music' is more logical and makes more sense. It would only be called ipod if it emulated the original ipod, complete with click wheel!*

*Someone should invent that app!

Someone actually did make one for jailbroken phones, can't remember what it's called but it did just that.
