Just updated evrytin and tried to turn on the full iCloud bit, however it asks for my Apple id which I put in but because I have had the account for a long time my id is a name and not an email address. iCloud wont accept id's that aren't email addresses.
I want to keep my id, it is mine and I like it but te darned Cloud wont let me.

Any advice on this please.

Too early for me to offer advice as I'm just trying to restore my Apps after the update...sounds like an odd one though

Long shot but maybe use the name you've been entering but add @me.com to the end see what happens?
