some nice software for free

The Omni Mouth » OmniWeb, OmniDazzle, OmniDiskSweeper, and OmniObjectMeter now freeware

Not used any of these yet but omnidazzle does look very nice for presentations etc.

Thanks.

The only one I'm interested in is OmniDiskSweeper, there was another app that did the same thing as it, but that one ended no longer being free, so this is nice to have.

There are still several free ones almost all the same Whatsize went paid, Grand Perspective and Disk InventoryX are both still free though.

I now have the paid Whatsize and really like the pie charts style.

Re: some nice software for free

Not sure if I have got this wrong

OmniWeb - do not see much to differentiate from other browsers despite the hyperbole
OmniDiskSweeper - might be useful

That's pretty much the size of it although I have now had a chance to play with omnidazzle and it's really nice. There are some good tools in there for jazzing up screenshots and screencasts etc.

Thanks for jogging my memory. I had the free version of it ages ago but it got binned for lack of use, when I went to get it again, it was no longer free. I hate paying for stuff I will only use once every blue moon.

Re: some nice software for free

I wouldn't have paid for it individually but it came as part of a bundle. I still tend to default to Disk InventoryX by habit.
