Folder sync between PC and Mac

Are there any applications available to enable a folder to be automatically kept in sync between a PC and a Mac? Foldershare (which I used to use) is defunct and the replacement requires OSX 10.5 (I'm running 10.4).

Thanks, Dan

Hi

You could just set up a network share and then make the folder an 'offline folder' on the Windows box.

That will do what you want without needing any third party software. Not sure how efficient or reliable it would be.

OK, that sounds good. Not sure how I would go about doing this, I assume it would be in the Windows help file? Would I need to do anything on the mac?

I gather that everytime I connect the MacBook to the network here, the folders on bother machines would start to sync automatically?

Thanks for all your help. Dan

Re: Folder sync between PC and Mac

Be careful. I think that offline folders are a one-way sync only... Forgive me if I'm wrong.
