Re: Creating an app and commission

Apple take a very reasonable 30% of all App Store sales.

As for creating the app you need a Mac, the iPhone SDK and the knowledge to make it work.

Its not difficult at all to make a soundboard for the iphone.

When you ask, "any ideas on how to do it" how much of an answer do you want? Do you want some one to literally tell you how or give you a high level answer?

Re: Creating an app and commission

If you consider the costs associated with the hosting, promotion and distribution of your software, a 30% cut from Apple is pretty reasonable.

Re: Creating an app and commission

Indeed, 30% is very reasonable since that is the only cost to you once you have developed the app.

Re: Creating an app and commission

As the Mac OS now runs on x86 (Intel/AMD PC type) processors, there are unofficial ways of running Mac as a boot choice on your PC. You could develop the app that way perhaps.
