Hi, I am looking to get a half decent all in one system to pair up with My Western Digital HD Media Player a Panasonic 37BX80B Plasma and HDMI (if it makes any difference) Xbox 360.

Now I have spotted the Pioneer DCS-580 5.1 Home Cinema System for £209.99 delivered which gets very good reviews - would this be a good buy for that price and would all the connections be ok (bearing in mind the WD HD Media Player does not decode DTS).

Hi mate

I have one of these im well pleased with it,But it only has one optical in so linking up both your 360 and your media player you will need a optical splitter but they are cheap so not too much of a problem.

My room is 18ft square and the speakers do a nice job of filling it, The sub isnt active but still performs well IMO

I was surprised with how good my dvd,s looked through this so much better than my old player and the xbox.

Wow thanks for that mate ... sounds promising. Good to know I can use a splitter as this will be my first surround sound system so bit of a noob on the workings (or not workings) of these set ups.
