Hey all,

Am currently looking at getting the DA-DZ360 which I imagine is the same as the 361 (just different model numbers due to "exclusivity")
Does anyone know if I can just buy the Sony S350 Bluray player extra and simply swap it out with the DVD player that ships with this model?
Or is it integral to the system working and I will just have to add the Bluray to it as an additional appliance?

Any advice would be appreciated and any user reviews appreciated more...lol

I have looked at the BDVFS350FI system but cant fit a HUUUUUGE subwoofer and £50 more for 2.1.

I don't think you can just swap it, since the DZ360 main unit not only includes the DVD player, but also the amplifier etc. So yeah, you'll have to just add the Blu-Ray player as an additional component.

But with those inputs,(xbox 360/ BR / TV/ SKY how would I connect it all up....sounds like a jumble of wires?!

You might be better off with an HTSS-1300 or HTSF-1300 (identical, except that the HTSF has floor-standing speakers and isn't usually available in the UK - Pixmania is a good source though). The HT-DDWG800 is also a solution, but probably too big for you.

You would probably end up having these connections:
360 <-HDMI-> HTSF-1300
S350 <-HDMI-> HTSF-1300

HTSF-1300 <-HDMI-> TV

Sky+ SD <-component?-> TV
Sky+ SD <-analog RCA?-> HTSF-1300

If you would then upgrade to a Sky HD box, you'd have both HDMI and optical from that to the amp (because Sky HD boxes are odd and won't output surround sound over HDMI).
