Question Speaker cables for a HTSF-1300

I'll will be taking delivery of a HTSF-1300 system and from what I've read the it only comes with 2 x 4.5m speaker cables. I will need at lest double that amount for my set-up. can the cable be extended and where can I get the extention speaker cables from or can I just ditched the originals and use ordinary flat speaker cables?
would they be problems with the connectors?

Thanks

'Tis untrue it only comes with 4.5m cables. Fronts and sub 4.5m, rears approx 8m. But if that's not enough then yes, it's simple enough to extend them.

So are you saying that the front and Sub has 4.5 each and the rear has 8m each, so do I get 5 lots of cables or I'm getting it all wrong?

Re: Speaker cables for a HTSF-1300

You'll have 6 lots of cables. The speaker cable for the sub is attached already to the back of the sub. You'll then have a short one for the centre, and 4m ish for each of the fronts, and 8m ish for each of the surrounds. I'm saying "ish" because that's what i got with my 1200, as far as i know it's the same, give or take half a metre here and there, with the 1300...

as Welsh Whirlwind said, it's easy to extend them though.

Re: Speaker cables for a HTSF-1300

HI everybody,
do you think I can swap the front cable speakers for the HTSF1300.
Unfortunately my right cable (red connector) is only 3m and the left cable (white connector) is 4,5m. This is a problem for me as I need it longer for the right front speaker.
Thanks
