PS3 and Sony HT-SS1300

When selecting audio in the ps3 menu system i have many boxes i can tick, even down to khz selections.With the said surround system connected which boxes can i tick or not? I was warned by someone to not tick some as it may damage the speakers. Just a bit confused!

TBH since connecting mine to my Sony HT(not the same as yours) i haven't changed setting cause it's still connected with the same HDMI lead??

connect the ps3/1300,as i mention in your topic,and switch the 1300 on,and switch the ps3 on,then just carry out the ps3 audio test,it should auto detect the hdmi audio,then ok it.
