Tall Rears and Small Fronts !

Guys

Decided I will be hanging the tele on the wall so I think some small fronts either side would look good. On the rears, I dont fancy putting them on the wall because of where we sit so need some tall boys.

Does anyone know of any decent system for approx 250-300 tops with small fronts and tall boy rears (or shall I purchase some stands?) I think I prefer an all in one as I need a new DVD player also.

I have a Samsung 46" with loads of HDMI slots. Any ideas?

most work the other way round..
why not just try to look around for a system, with smaller speakers all round.

Re: Tall Rears and Small Fronts !

Mmm...the problem is
1. Missus doesnt want cables up the wall
2. The left wall is a little way off so I dont have a corner I can mount the rears on (unless I can find some decent speaker stands).

I do like the new Sony HT SF-1300.

Philips make such a system. It's very much entry level, however.

Re: Tall Rears and Small Fronts !

Maybe best to buy small everything, and put the rears on stands sold seperately.
