Marantz ES7001 Cinemarium opinions

Hi All,

I am researching soundbars(Yamaha, Denon etc.) and found another one: Marantz ES7001 Cinemarium.

It seems to be a system where the sound is not bounced off walls similar to the Denon DHT FS3, and should be less dependant on room shape etc. which for many(myself included, i think) is a drawback associated with the Yamaha YSP 30/40D system.

It seems to be pretty new and i was wondering if anyone had heard one or has any opinions regarding the specs etc?

One thing thats missing(apart from a possible post-purchase lack of cash) seems to be the ability to plug in an ipod dock, but presumably you could connect this using a normal phono jack anyway, but just not control it using the remote.

Whoops, Ive just noticed you can actually connect a marantz ipod dock so scratch that comment.

Now having read a few favourable reviews about the Marantz ES7001 I would like to see one of these in action,but none of the Comets,Currys etc seem to stock them.
Has anybody purchased or listened to one yet ?
